Mobil Polyrex EP 2 (5 Gal. Pail)
Mobil Polyrex EP 2 is an NLGI Grade 2 multipurpose grease which is highly recommended for a wide variety of construction and industrial applications. Mobil Polyrex EP 2 is formulated with a proprietary Extreme Pressure (EP) additive package that ensures great load-carrying capability and wear protection without degrading the thermal stability of the grease. Because Mobil Polyrex EP 2 contains a proprietary polyurea thickener system, it performs with superior resistance to water, avoiding oil separation and oxidation even at operating temperatures up to 320 F (160 C). The thickener system of Mobil Polyrex EP 2 demonstrates excellent tolerance of mechanical shearing force, which is crucial in roller bearing applications where too much grease softening may lead to leakage or purging of grease from the bearing.
