Mobil DTE 10 Excel 15 fits to DTE 24?

Mobil DTE 10 Excel 15 (5 Gal. Pail)
Mobil DTE 10 Excel 15 (5 Gal. Pail)
Mobil DTE 24 (5 Gal. Pail)
Mobil DTE 24 (5 Gal. Pail)
BEST ANSWER: No, DTE 10 Excel 15 is a non-zinc product where the DTE 24 is zinc. Mobil tech does not recommend mixing the two but instead if you'd like to use one after the other a drain of the old fluid must be completed several times (no full flush needed but several drains must be done).

Ronie on Jun 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they are compatible with a viscosity ending up somewhere in between the two. These cannot replace each other but they will mix well together.
